She’s lean, she’s mean, she’s a kitty power machine! She’s my Charlotte! Ain’t she a beauty (photo by Colton Allen)?

How did we meet, well, here’s the backstory. My mom is VERY allergic to cats! Dogs okay… but cat’s… no good! So, growing up we never had a cat, kitten or any type of feline friend (other than my grandma’s cats, who we’re outdoor cats). So, the first thing I did upon moving away from home, was get my very own kitten! She was free, from a nice lady in downtown Eugene, with a box full of kittens. Charlotte was the runt. It was LOVE at first sight. I snuck her onto the Eugene City bus in my hoodie sleeve and we rode on home!

She’s been with me ever since!
